Oddly, however, the woman's .... by this stage almost imperceptible, raise of the eyebrow which means "you aren't actually planning wearing that, are you ?" (which, of course REALLY means, "no, go & change") seems to be 100% accurate.

I got the "Do y'know, we hardly see each other these days" as I was about to leave for the walking the dog to the pub ritual. It didn't go down very well at all when I answered with "That's why our marriage has lasted so long dear".
