Its a tad weird, I don't smoke and I don't do drugs, but with the above two tracks and Battle of Evermore, I've occasionally had the hankering for a spliff. Possibly just to try and understand wtf LZ were thinking when they put those tracks together!

oh yes - that track always makes me stop whatever i am doing and try to sing along (except it is VERY high - and my efforts don't sound good...)Bijou Bob wrote:Its a tad weird, I don't smoke and I don't do drugs, but with the above two tracks and Battle of Evermore, I've occasionally had the hankering for a spliff. I expect it chills out Hoboh (especially the Gimme Back My Bullets track), that's a given, but to find you say that Lynyrd Skynyrd chills you out?Bijou Bob wrote:Kashmir. The Led Zep track that is, not the disputed area between India and Pakistan. Always brings a smile to my face and along with Sweet Home Alabama, chills me out no end. Gotta love my MP3 player.

You don't find SHA chilled?? If you ignore the political bent of the lyrics, I find it really laid back

This is the sort of thing that makes you realise solipsism isn't an option. There is no way I find SHA to be chilled. Sorted - we are not the same person.Bijou Bob wrote:You don't find SHA chilled?? If you ignore the political bent of the lyrics, I find it really laid back

Took my mate on a long promised pilgrimage up to Crow Cragg. Anyway, there were a couple of builders working on it who not only allowed us in but gave a guided tour. Result!

Today Im happy that Max Clifford is sitting at home, behind a locked door with the press hammering on the windows. I only hope that when he finally arrives at Strangeways to start his sentence, they've run out of lube.

Don't be too critical of Worthy, bish, if you know whats good for you.thebish wrote:you wanna do summat about that half-buried body under the gravel!
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Half those bricks used to be a barbecue, built by the previous incumbent.

Re: Today I'm happy about......
Today I'm happy about the advances that appear to have been made in the administering of local anesthetic. Been to the dentist's for a filling (Martin Gore wasn't there today). Now then, he told me in advance that this was to be a particularly deep filling to the tooth that sits in front of my upper right wisdom tooth.
Before he started drilling I expressed my concern that the only numbing I was experiencing was localised to my outer gum right next to the tooth in question and nowhere else. He said that that was perfect, then bish, bash, bosh, all done within 10 minutes.
Whatever happened to the feeling that half your head had turned to marshmallow and that someone had replaced your tongue with a sizeable loaf?
Brilliant.
