Who would you prefer to face in the play-offs?
Abandon superstition all ye who enter here...
If we qualify for the play-offs, who would you rather face? I had thought it would be Watford but I'd prefer Hull, whom the Hornets could overtake with a home win over Leeds if the Tigers can't beat Cardiff. Steve Bruce's team are stuttering and might be more there for the taking than Watford, whom I'd back to score home and away against us a Dawsonless defence.
As I would Brighton, whom we could also face if Palace only got one point from their teo remaining games, at fierce rivals Millwall and at home to the safety-sniffing, wierdly competent Peterborough...

Hull for me. Out of form and once Watford take their 2nd spot they will be on a real downer.

There's a fly in the ointment. Doesn't Steve Bruce have a good record against us?

Do this thread if we actually get in the play offs.

Problem with that is, as soon as our place is assured, there can be no speculation over who we'd rather face, because it will all be set in stone.Annoyed Grunt wrote:Do this thread after we actually get in the play offs?
For the record, I'd rather play Hull. I'd prefer to avoid Brighton. I'm also a bit miffed that results yesterday mean we miss out on 4th, so I can't make it to the home leg...

Re: Who would you prefer to face in the play-offs?
Hmmm......it was just after 6 that I posted.......Hull.
Re: Who would you prefer to face in the play-offs?
Brighton were the better team against us Home and away so I would not want to play them. Watford seem good as well but I think they'll get automatic promotion. I think Hull would be the best team to play, they were woeful when we beat them at home and can't buy a goal at the moment. I wouldn't mind playing palace either
Re: Who would you prefer to face in the play-offs?
If Palace win one more game (remember they still have 2 left to play) then we will play either "Ull" or Watford. I would prefer to play Watford although TBH if we make it to the play offs we will win them any way, full stop.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

My first choice would be Hull, followed by Palace in the final.

'Ull.
merely for travel reasons for the away leg. Should see us take a good 2-3k. I'd guess tickets wont even see open sale, if its away at Hull

Re: Who would you prefer to face in the play-offs?
Palace will scrape past Millwall on Tuesday to secure their place and we'll beat Blackpool to get ours
Playoff four will be - Hull, Palace, Bolton & Brighton
Game 1 - Hull(3rd) vs Palace(5th)
Game 2 - Brighton(4th) vs Bolton (6th)
Hull will beat Palace and we'll beat Brighton (draw at their ground, win at ours)
Final Hull vs Bolton
We'll beat um 2-1 with a 95th minute winner.

Because "Ull" is a sh*thole and I think they are a better side then Watford. Apart from anything it is a long way from Berkshire. Read in the Cardiff programme yesterday that Cardiff fans will be picked up at 4am for their excursion to Hull on saturday, 4 am you would have to be barmy to do that surely.ChrisC wrote:bwfcdan94 wrote:If Palace win one more game (remember they still have 2 left to play) then we will play either "Ull" or Watford.
