Who should replace Dawson?

Ok will settle this now to stop it getting out of hand .
Anchorman: Is a defender who sits about a yard in front of the defensive line and main role is to organise the offside trap
Holding midfielder: generally looks to break up the play
While both are very similar roles a Anchorman cannot afford to join in with the attack or venture far from his position whereas a holding midfielder can.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.
