A few balloon-heads talking shxt. I'd like to make it clear that the Bolton Tangoman has nothing whatsoever to do with me. Wouldn't waste my time.

Still bitter about something that happened nearly 40 years ago, sad that really. So go on then tell us the story those of you that were around in those days what happened to Kevin Olsson I know he died at A game between ourselves and Pool but that is it.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

This game may be on sky sports, I checked the guide and a 12:45 championship kick off is listed, are we the only team playing then ?

Nope, full fixture list kicks off at 12.45.

Most likely to be showing the Hull and Watford games.

The only games kicking off at 12:45 in the Championship next Saturday are ours and the other eleven fixtures!

LeverEnd wrote:I agree that we won't make the playoffs, but think that 75 won't be needed this season when you look at how many the bottom 5 teams have got. Lots of teams beating each other outside the top 5.
I we could put a winning consistent run together we could do it but we won't because we still have far too many deficiencies, as shown up by two poor teams in derby and P'boro.
Not too smug I hope.

I was at that match as a small kid. On the way into Blackpool, we passed the Bolton players coming out of a hotel in St Annes after lunch. I've no idea what the crowd was that day, but my dad and I walked to the match through pitched battles and I ended up at the front of the stand against the barrier in a tiny stand that was full to bursting point. I spent a couple of hours unable to move and for the life of me I can't remember the result. I have a suspicion it was a draw or we lost as I don't recall any celebrations.

After the match I can remember walking down an alleyway at the back of the stand where more pitched battles were starting and my dad dragging me past blokes knocking seven shades out of each other.

The 70's were a hard time to watch football. Fair play for my dad taking me in them days. If my mother had had any idea of what went on week in week out, she wouldn't have been impressed. It really was a different world.

On the last day of the season they sometimes have a special thing where they all walk round and clap the fans, anything like that happening on Saturday?

I think Tango was a drink made by a company based down Raikes Lane. Think it was Corona, though Beechams were the parent company. Big blobby Blackpool fan gets a good slapping and "You know when you've been Tangoed!" 8)

No surprise there. But from memory they will nip "round the grounds" and show box-in-the-corner goals from the crucial fixtures, as they have exemption from the usual Saturday-afternoon "golden hour" transmission ban.
