Tango, my cat is called Alfie. Blame the husband ;) He was named after Alfie on Eastenders. I drew the line at calling his sister Kat though... I named her. She's Bess.

Dog called Paddy (not named by us) Chickens are Toffee, Fudge and Holly and the ducks are Rosie and Thierry.

Cats are called Smokey and The Bandit.

However after biting the head off a pigeon yesterday I'm thinking of naming one of them Ozzy.

I might be missing something as to the reason why it is so, but it seems that an inordinate number of dogs around here are called Chloe. Next-door-but-one's lately departed was Lucky. Next-door has two, one of which is "Bella" or "Ella" (I'm still not sure which) the other I haven't managed to sort out yet. The reason for that confusion is that I only hear their names mentioned when they are being yelled at for making a racket. I've never owned a dog although my father had a couple or three over the years. The only one I recall by name was anointed "Patch", which is really only a slight variation on "Spot". Over my childhood years we did have a couple of imaginary dogs; one was "Rover" the other "Towser".

Having one of those dogs Coffey loves so much that doesn't always come back when called and would rather jump up and greet the nearest human regardless of whether wanted or not, I wondered if anyone could recommend dog treats/biscuits that there dog loves and will always come back for....

Bakers Allsorts. I'm sure it contains crack cocaine or something addictive.

This complementary pet food for adult dogs can be fed as a treat or reward at any time of day so you should adjust your dog’s main meal accordingly. The pack contains various flavours so your dog gets a variety of flavours all in one mouthful: Chicken, beef, lamb and rabbit.

Isn't bakers the one brand that has so many e-numbers in it sends them hyper-active? He's already pretty looney as it is...
