Jay Spearing

He won the BWSA player of the year award tonight. Congrats to him. Don't think to many would disagree.

Apparently he could be available for the playoffs if we make it according to Marc Iles. He also said there could be positive news regarding his future with us.

Fair play to him. (even if he is a scouser)

Well deserved though if Pratley had started showing his worth earlier he might have been a serious contender to

He's been good but there's one bloke who is our top scorer, most assists, and second most assists in the entire league...

Too many disappearing acts for Eagles to be our player of the season... Hence the bench time...

Been our most consistent player. Fair enough.

Wee Jay, doesn't pull up trees but would be glad to have him back for the Wanderers even if we don't make the Premier League.
Pfffft.

Didn't want him at the club when he came but fair play to him, came and did well and turned my opinion of him. He's been a good professional and I would happily have him back next season.

On the face of it, huge club with massive potential & why wouldn't he ?

In reality, a fckg midden where players go missing & the fans have no patience. He'd go up there play half a dozen times, be dropped and be being loaned out by the second season.

It'd mean uprooting and moving to what may ... or may not be a place he fancies.

But, money talks. So we'll see.

One thing Geordies like is a bit of tenacity and passion. I think he'd do well there. Should we go up though, he'd sign for us.

I would hope so. Lower premier league side where he will be a fans favourite with his sleeves rolled up is his gig.
