Re: Well, I'd never have thought this ...
Some bloke exposed himself to me and a mate when we were about 8yr old, he approached us in a back street and asked if we wanted to see his 'bits'. Which he then did
I was completely unaware of the danger I was in and started laughing at him, we ran off and told our older mates who then told their parents.
There were nonce's in the 80's too!

Who's Nigel Evans ??
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

indeed... the article I read said that deputy speakers (there are 3 of them) get paid £102,000 a year!!!Bruce Rioja wrote:The deputy speaker.bobo the clown wrote:Who's Nigel Evans ??

(not that this has anything to do with the allegations - but it did surprise me to read that...)

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

Is it just me who feels that things are getting a bit ridiculous now? By all means if people are guilty of said crimes, then, even after all these years, they should feel the full force of the law; but Tarby? I'll bet by house that amongst the genuine complaints & victims, there are a few who are trying to make a quick bob or two from the gutter press.

Why is he any less likely than any of the others? If it's not true, deny it. The standard of proof is beyond reasonable doubt, and that's going to be tough for any individual after all this time. With Stuart Hall for instance the police had numerous, detailed and independant accounts which seemed to corroborate each other. Hence he decided to plead guilty. Each and every one of them must individually (presumed innocent, but I can't see why folk keep rushing out to defend them ona ccount of it being ages ago and seemingly all at it. If they did it,and it can be proven then the dirty fcukers want locking up for a long time.

I understand Mr. Turnip and Sarah Swede filed a joint complaint about Humphrey Lestocq, although the police have been unable to trace him.Burnden Paddock wrote:Who's gonnna be next? Would it be wrong to have a sweep? Or a Sooty for that matter?
