Aye, I think Worthy said it elsewhere, but I don't think there is such a thing as going up too soon. Worst case you get a year of prem money plus parachutes plus you can sign players who'll come to you in the prem but maybe not in the champ. Even if you get beat every week you're surely, with sensible management, be in a better place to come back up than you would just staying down. We almost stayed up with that fool in charge, I'd be surprised if we didn't at least come close.

This is my first day on-line since Saturday. I've not read the comments above yet - I'll do that after I've posted this - don't want to be influenced by other people's thoughts.

Right, overall I thought it was a good game. Blackpool were better at passing and had some real threat going forward. 2-2 was probably a fair result.

Grumbles more than annoyances.

Eagles. Although he took his goal well overall he was pretty poor. His crosses were awful, either too hard or too soft. Pratley, kept giving the ball away as did Chungy. Didn't hear who MotM was, I'd have give it to Alonso. Thought Cravies played well as did Ream who I thought came back into the team and handled pretty much everything with ease. Knight and Ricketts good also.

Team selection was a gamble though. Dougie's 'paid to make big decisions' and I thought the inclusion of Hall didn't come off. He was actually playing better when he swapped over so I thought the substitution for Sordell was a bit harsh but it was all-or-nothing at that point I suppose so someone had to come off.

Bringing Wheater on? I'd have pulled Pratters off and thrown Holden on but in the end we just weren't urgent enough and many players chose not to pull the trigger when chances came opting to pass to a marked team mate or Blackpool defender.

Chungy should have buried that chance (which we thought had gone in) and that's about that.

Not upset, we had a great day out just wish we'd have started the season like we'd finished it.

That's about it. Roll on next season.
I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.
