in one of my university years i shared a room with a bloke with whom i shared a pact that the radio would come on at about 8am - and neither of us would get up until that song was played....regardless of lectures/exams... that's how crazy we were in those good old days...

I get the impression that Dan will probably pick another new 'favourite' youth player soon and he'll be the Wanderers saviour, not Dan but the new youth player :)

Mills was £2.5m to us wasn't he?

Wasn't it Leicester that paid £4m for him previously?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Yup. Fell out with Pearson during training and they squared upto one another. That season he'd been nominated club captain. :)

Me and my mate sang it in a benidorm karaoke bar last year. I think we underestimated the vocal complexity... in other words we were dogshit! Reverted back to barry manilow numbers after that

Dougie really will be in Dan's bad books now after the Blakeman news. I'm surprised he's not been on yet to rant.

He must be on holiday again.

I once opted for what I thought was the straightforward Candle in the Wind by Elton John at a karaoke night on a french campsite... when the lyrics came up I realised they had queued up his Lady Diana tribute version... Goodbye England's Rose - or summat shitey like that - but I was trapped - I had to sing on!! :vomit:

i usually stick to "My Way" (which i can do a passable version of - or the duet "baby it's cold outside" with the missus or "Sex Bomb"...

Yer go-to karaoke opener should be Can't Take My Eyes Off You. Verses have an easy vocal range with plenty of breathing space (or opportunity to play suave), exciting pre-chorus brass bit, chorus that everybody knows.

Anyway, updated with Boris's news:

Contracts until June unless otherwise stated. Corrections (with citations) always welcome.

Sound advice, will take it on board for Tenerife this summer.
Gold by Spandau ballet is another staple.

Gold falls into the trap of having an easy chorus but difficult verses. For karaoke you should know the verses off by heart and be able to belt them out. No lots-of-words mumbley stuff. #Harderthanitlooks

True, but better still just go for something like No Limit. Minimal lyrics and zero singing ability required to replicate..

Im coming to get you Dougie, me and my little army of Blakeman's and Mcquade's  . In reality I think I will go back to Bogdan. I was not on holiday sadly 89, instead was being dragged through 3 foot of sh*t by my retarded school teachers, boy do I have some good stories to tell of the last few days, time to find the Jobsworth c**ts thread.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.
