Liverpool laughing stocks?

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

On the BBC, Phil McNulty wrote that "Liverpool appear so gripped by fear of losing the 26-year-old that they are now in serious danger of repeating some of the mistakes that damaged their image during the Evra saga while also transforming Suarez into a figure who is bigger than the club."

I think that pretty much sums it up, although of course the culture of victimhood is so ingrained at Liverpool that his reaction is no surprise.

I've already applied for the names under the Freedom of Information act.

Former Liverpool hero John Aldridge has claimed that Luis Suarez should have won the PFA Player of the Year Award rather than Tottenham's Gareth Bale, because the latter is one of the league's 'biggest cheats'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You simply couldn't make it up could you.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

He's right tbf. Bale is a complete ninny.

Supporters of gifted players always seem ready to overlook the darker side of a player's game though. A Utd-supporting mate of mine refused to believe Barcelona dive, playact or con the ref. He prefers to believe that I 'hate good football' instead.

Well if he was contending just that Bale milks it, sorta fair enough. To suggest that Suarez should have got the nod because Bale cheats is Mr Pot calling Mr Kettle.

Yeah but calling someone Mr Kettle isn't considered a racial slur in Uruguay.

Absolutely. Would have come off better if he'd been honest and said neither deserved it for being ninnies!
