There's a difference? He was a man with a toolbox.Always hopeful wrote:Fixed that for you.clapton is god wrote:Change-over from Sky to Virgin went smoothly this morning and everything set up nicely. Our time slot was 8-1 and theengineertechnician was here at 8am on the dot. Now showing a 10 fold increase in broadband speed, which is nice but probably doesn't mean much in the great scheme of things.
Also treated myself to a custom domain and email address this morning and that also went without a hitch.

Well, I guess more along the lines of "making some really weird-shit noises" is probably closer to the mark at the minute.thebish wrote:mixin' some phat choons?Worthy4England wrote:Cubase 7 which I got at weekend and am now starting to finally learn how to use the fcuking thing!

It's excellent.

years ago i tried to get into using cubase... IIRC it wasn't very intuitive... now - if only Apple made dub-master-funky-phat-choons software.......Worthy4England wrote:Well, I guess more along the lines of "making some really weird-shit noises" is probably closer to the mark at the minute.thebish wrote:mixin' some phat choons?Worthy4England wrote:Cubase 7 which I got at weekend and am now starting to finally learn how to use the fcuking thing!

I use Ableton normally, but I wanted the VST's in Cubase, so I now have both.thebish wrote:years ago i tried to get into using cubase... Sorry, using Google translate it says "Nipped for a bungee jumping smoke, back in 5 minutes".MC LLS wrote: Please, please, pretty please, confine yourself to the English language. Posts in Chinese are hard to follow.
I have some digital audio workstations, stuff to make music on. The latest addition to which is a product called Cubase that comes with some good virtual studio technology instruments (synths etc.). Using it I can make some pretty sounds, that amuse me.

pretty scary medical emergency today with my daughter early morning - and ongoing through the day - which at one stage looked and felt like it might be brain-tumour level of seriousness...
now sorted! (it wasn't a brain tumour!!)
anyway - it did look like Florence was off - but now it's not! we fly very early in the morning - and have taken on board all the excellent TW recommendations....

Re: Today I'm happy about......
During a rather boring and frankly unproductive day at work, I've just received a phone call inviting me to lunch at a very nice hotel in the Lake District
There is however, no such thing as a free lunch and for stuffing myself silly, I will have to pay the price of running a small workshop.
Sounds like a bloody fair swap to me
