Just read that he's been released by Mainz after only 3 appearances this season.

Great Mainz think alike.
I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.

It seems so, with only 1 goal also, but I suppose 1 goal every 3 games is a better ratio than our current strikers

I'm guessing he wasn't their Mainz Striker then :D

I watched Mainz last month. Didn't realise he was there. (He wasn't in the team: they were playing 5-4-1 and the 1 was fairly useless.)

No. You must be wrong. Everybody knows that every german club plays a free flowing attacking game with amazing forwards and the tickets are only 74 pence a pop, too. Plus you get a token for a free blozzer at the brass-house with every beer bought at the ground. Or something.

I'm sure he's just struggling with form but he'll come good again.

It's just a case of mainz over matter.

I went for a nosebag with Klasnic once. I had two courses but he just had Mainz.

I've always wondered how nosebags work, I mean you lower your head to get to the food and surely the food just gets lowered by the same amount...

:conf:

but anyway Bruce, it's obvious that creatures that have a nosebags usually have mainz.

I've been watching a bit of the Bundesliga highlights on ITV4 this season and I've got to say the football seems this ultra quick counter attacking game. Almost every goal seems to be a cracker. Really enjoyable to watch. Klasnic wouldn't fit into that!

Klasnic wasn't livewire enough for them. He wasn't plugged into the Mainz

I watched HSV vs. Freiburg a month or so back and it was turgid, Championship-level stuff.

Klasnic is a great finisher, but he doesn't work hard enough for me and is out a lot with injuries. Can you honestly see him playing 40 odd games in a season?? Can you honestly see his agent agreeing to him coming back on a third of his old wages? No, me neither.

Think the real question regarding Klasnic would be: would he get any better offers?
