Ok Chelsea no chance.
But I could imagine Villa and Liverpool having our man on a shortlist at the very least.
Time to worry or is it too early for Owen to be thinking about moving on still?

Re: Dougie
Not at all. The gap between two young managers who have both managed in the championship for a few seasons but no higher, is hardly comparable to the gap between Moyes' and Ferguson's records is it?Lord Kangana wrote:Good lord, with that logic Moyes and Ferguson are about the same then, as they're both breathing. Its a subtle difference between their achievements.

Ferguson has won loads of trophies. Moyes hasn't won loads of trophies.
Its a very subtle difference when you look at like that, isn't it?

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Re: Dougie
Dougie Freedman's odds for the Everton job have come in today from nowhere. 12/1 and 10/1 with a couple of bookies.
So someone is putting money on it (and it certainly isn't me).

BL3 will be happy. We'll be able to get Mick McCarthy/Sean Dyche/David Flitcroft/Dean Saunders/Owen Coyle in!BWFC_Insane wrote:Dougie Freedman's odds for the Everton job have come in today from nowhere. 12/1 and 10/1 with a couple of bookies.

probably not the same people who ran out and put money on "Coyle for Liverpool" when you were worried that we might lose him and told us he'd be high up on their list, though...BWFC_Insane wrote:Which would suggest people think I'm making sense. Re: Dougie
On a more serious note, if Malky Mackay goes to Everton could Cardiff come calling for Freedman?
It would be a shame if we lost the positivity Freedman has brought to us over the summer. In fact, not a shame, a disaster.
Not that there is much we can do about it.

Re: Dougie
It wouldn't be a disaster. Disasters claim many lives.
There is, I will grant you, more chance of Cardiff wanting Freedman than of Everton wanting Freedman. But then you have to factor in the chances of Everton wanting Mackay, who again has no top-flight experience. And thinking about it, I would expect Premier League Cardiff to get a bit more Billy Big Boots and want a bigger name.
I'm still not struggling to relax.

That you think Freedman has proved himself as a Prem manager contender astonishes me... Is he your long lost half-brother that your mother only recently told you about?BWFC_Insane wrote:On a more serious note, if Malky Mackay goes to Everton could Cardiff come calling for Freedman?

In fact, thinking about your other Freedman posts...

The only way Dougie would be getting the Cardiff job is if he tattoos his face red or something.
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.
