Tonight's Football

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

All of a sudden our last day disappointment doesn't seem so bad eh? Imagine being a Leicester fan down there right now?

I don't think there is owt worse that can happen in football than that.

I would imagine that losing 5-0 in an FA Cup Semi Final runs it pretty close.

Amazing finish. I can't be the only one laughing at Knockaert. Dives to 'win' a penalty, misses said penalty and the follow up and then has to watch as Watford go up the other end and score the winner. Wanker!

I thought i'd seen the most dramatic end to a game ever the other week, when Doncaster beat Brentford, but that was virtually a carbon copy. Bizarre.

Nah, not for me. The disappointment of losing like Leicester did in a game that a whole season hinged on, far far far more acute.

Disappointment wise, maybe. But the sheer humiliation (and disappointment) after THAT game will live with me forever.

Same ref as well!

Truly delicious karma, not only for being a diving cheat but also for knocking us out of the playoff positions in the last minute

The PL table is almost as tight as the Championship was. Sunderland score a goal and go from 17th up to 11th. Southampton equalise and they're back to 17th.

Red shite score.

Bly my reckoning everyone above Villa are now safe, given Villa and Wigan meet on the last game.

Villa win and Wigan can only have 38 points max, sending them down.

Wigan win and Villa have 40 points with a considerably worse goal difference than those above them.

A draw and Wigan only have 39 points.

So it's between Wigan, Villa and Sunderland for the last place.
