If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

We were unable to identify the etymology of 'blithering crin' but it is possible we are spelling it wrong. There are far more possibilities for crinn, cryn, crynn, krin, krinn, kryn, krynn, etc. Obviously more research is required.

Almost, Dan. Think I'll put him straight. ;)
:D
The trouble is if you search google for "blithering flip" you get 649 hits, while "blithering crin" gets but one - and that from TW. You'll have to get cracking if you want grandpa's version to prevail for future generations.
Many thanks for then research and the update, Monty. Work to do then! Onward and upwards. :D

I think there are a few that might come ahead of Arness in the best cowboy voting. He did a fine job as The Thing from Another World though....

I know of John Wayne, but then whenever I hear his name I think about Kate Garner (absolute honey from Wigan) from Haysi Fantayzee, singing John Wayne is Big Leggy. A song about John Wayne slipping it to a Red Indian bird up the pot towel holder.

Wayne gave much pleasure, but Gary Cooper, Burt Lancaster and Kirk Douglas wouldn't be far behind, neither would Clint Eastwood.

Finding out the old-style, unmarked warehouse down the road from me is actually a snooker hall :oyea:

Think I might be more happy to find a snooker hall that's now a warehouse.

I'll try and remember that for next time I'm jealous, though by then you will be as one with the devil that is Apple and may not care.
