We was quoted around 7 million for Matt I think Nixon said a few weeks ago.

It's Matt, I thought they'd bought Kevin. £7m though? Isn't he out of contract soon?ChrisC wrote:Kevin or Matt?BWFC90 wrote:Us and Palace are after Phillips from Blackpool according to SSN

They can ask what they want. What they want and what they actually get are to very different thingsBWFC90 wrote:It's Matt, I thought they'd bought Kevin. £7m though? Matt was bloody good in that last match of the season. A bloody sight more effective than Mr Ince Jnr.BWFC90 wrote:It's Matt, I thought they'd bought Kevin. £7m though? Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Yeah I thought he looked good, he'd be a good signing if we could get him on the cheap

Link: http://www1.skysports.com/football/news ... t-Phillips" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Phillips was linked with Cardiff for £3m in April... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... kpool.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
...and last month Blackpool understandably took up one-year options on both wingers (and, by the way, Chris Basham) http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22465800" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I'd say we'd struggle to get him, but good luck Dougie

Andrei Arshavin's doing nowt. Come on, Dougie. Where's your spirit of ambition? Big Sam would have (and probably will)

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
Matt Phillips is a very good player however I'd be surprised if that move came off. Would Blackpool sell to us? I can't see him wanting to move to another Championship club when some Premier League teams have been linked with him.
I'm sure a lot would disagree but I'd happily sell CY Lee if it meant we got Matt Phillips in.

I watched Arshavin in a reserve game at Carrow Road, he scored two goals that were different class, rest of the game he was a passenger. Maybe he should have a chat with Marvin.

Arshavin ruined by Wenger imo.
I heard he was pondering signing a 24m Euro a year deal in Azerbaijan though!
