Tree Tings.
I am ALWAYS grumpy.
Two of my cygnets are missing.
I'm having to log on every two minutes and the site is down more than it's up and therefore Enoch I would'nt have bothered diverting to other websites if I'd known the content just reinforced what I already knew.
PS cheers Bish for looking out my interests.

So the club have done something for the 60th and 65th anniversaries. I personally think that is the right way to do it (every 5 or 10 years).

I don't think an annual remembrance would be necessary.

if you get this....

you're welcome! :-)

(sorry to hear about those cygnets... they are very vulnerable at that age... crows, herons, magpies, turtles, pike and even large perch... also foxes, muslims and mink.) :-(

Cheers. There's big dog fox about recently. Not only does he look healthy, and mean, and sly, but he does look a bit like Anjem Choudary.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Dear Mr Spot,

It's a bugger when the site doesn't play fair.

I have noted your comments and will endeavour to mend my ways.

Yours etc.

I think the club have marked it with dignity and respect so far, and I'm sure there will be a mention if it in any Nat-related memorial garden.

To suddenly decide, 68 years after the fact, that we're going to make a huge song and dance about it every year would make me feel uncomfortable. Why now, other than to enter into a kind of tragedy-off with other clubs?

It's unnecessary. Also, when did allocating a particular minute of a football match to recognise something/someone become a thing?

Agree with all of the above. Recognising that people will deal with their losses in different ways, at what point is it necessary to become a "public" event. How far after the event should you go with it? For ever more?

I couldn't tell you without looking, what months (or years) my parents died in - I could tell you at length what good they did for me - and I'd rather not shoe-horn remembering those times into a pigeon-holed date. Personal to me, I remember them when I want to remember them.

Sorry, not for me.

Superb. I reckon Stepney is similar to Siberia as far as foxes think.

Stepney's pretty good for foxes, no shortage of folk round there living on burger and chips in a box.

Not as good as the 'Have they forgotten Bolton?' article referred to earlier but here's something I wrote a few years ago and stuck up on the forum.

Excellent that, Zulu.

Sorry I missed it before.

Amazing number of places the dead came from - Was it just the lure of the cup, I wonder, or did our fan base stretch much further in those days?
