Luncheon is clearly an afternoon thing. Dinner is at night, and tea is something you drink. YFP.89bwfc89 wrote:Lunch!? Lunch!? What is this lunch you speak of!?Bruce Rioja wrote:Not getting my lunch until 15:45. That's what!!!

I'm angry at people microwaving pizza. I'm even madder at manufacturers making pizza which CAN be microwaved.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

it was meant to be microwaved - it wasn't microwave pizza...bobo the clown wrote:I'm angry at people microwaving pizza. I'm even madder at manufacturers making pizza which CAN be microwaved.
as i made clear originally - it was LEFTOVER pizza!!! (that was the context!!!)
i wanged it in the microwave to reheat it - which seems like a good idea when you haven't eaten all day and waiting for the kettle to boil! the slice of pizza had sat congealed on a sideplate since one of the kids had not finished it last night...

Leftover pizza, much like revenge is a dish best served cold. There's no finer breakfast when one is crippled with a Sunday morning hangover.

My taste in food is very flexible. I can find something on almost any menu that I like. Strangely, two things I can't stand, are pizza and garlic bread. I'd have to be very hungry to eat pizza, and starving before touching garlic bread. Wife, of course, who has the weirdest taste in food, not liking chicken, pork, fish other than cod, or curry, loves both pizza and garlic bread. Has to, doesn't she?bobo the clown wrote:I'm angry at people microwaving pizza. I'm even madder at manufacturers making pizza which CAN be microwaved.

Theres a bloke at work, a bit strange and stuck in his ways... hes a traveller like me but from the north east. The other day he was deliberating what to do for tea and i suggested he come pizza express with us. He was like ‘Whaa, Pizza!? Gan te fook man. For wor tea? Fookin pizza? Noo way man pet’ etc. It turns out his only experience of pizza is of supermarket frozen deep pan tasteless shit variety, of which he’d only had the odd mottled cold slice from a buffet. He wouldn’t budge tho. But he did come to la Divinas with us (ordered a steak with f’kall else on) and i deliberately went for pizza so he could try it. it was a belter, perfect thin melt in your mouth base, a little crispy and with darkened bubbles round the edges, really tasty tomato base, chillies, succulent sausage and loaded with fresh rocket. He now comes pizza express every week!

I'm angry at the feckin witch I've come across via work. A feckless workshy bint who's been neglecting and financially abusing her 80 odd year old Father. So much so, he was eating from the bins of the local takeaway. I'd suspected it for ages and reported it a couple of times - today he finally confirmed it had been going on.
I hope the old bill throw the feckin book at her

Agreeing wholeheartedly with the sentiment Harry, not sure if it's "illegal" to neglect anyone over 18, whilst you may well have a moral obligation, not convinced there's a legal one.Harry Genshaw wrote:I'm angry at the feckin witch I've come across via work.
