Where are you going tonight?

Re: Where are you going tonight?
Half minded to go watching Nearly Dan, a Steely tribute band at Band on the Wall tonight. Seen them more than a dozen times and they're a really tight band who love what they do. Trouble is, the trains back from Manchester are garbage and if the last one doesn't turn up its a forty quid taxi

Would it be unwise of me to post on here that I'm taking Mrs H to see Robbie Williams at the Etihad tonight?
Hope is what keeps us going.

A work colleague of mine took her husband 2 years ago to see RW at the Etihad. Between her and the bar he was incessantly groped by pished up women, most of them old enough to be his mother, all of them wearing gloriously inappropriate clothing for women of their age and none of them under a size 16. Enjoy!!

Only if you can report Liam Gallagher turned up and they knocked seven bells out of ech other.Always hopeful wrote:Would it be unwise of me to post on here that I'm taking Mrs H to see Robbie Williams at the Etihad tonight?
Mind you, I'd back Williams to win. Gallagher's all brave when behind six minders. If Carling did absolute pillocks....

That will be good, not been to live athletics for ages (well, apart from Northern League!). Mate went to Oslo Diamond League last week and loved it. Gateshead is a nice little stadium, and there's usually an appreciative crowd there. have a good 'un and fingers crossed for GB &NI.Harry Genshaw wrote:Off to Gateshead this afternoon for a weekend of athletics, beer & 2 full English's. It's taken you to interpret that for me. I get it now, I thought Harry was on about Jessica Genshaw.LeverEnd wrote:That will be good, not been to live athletics for ages (well, apart from Northern League!). The fourth great lie is 'I know a brilliant Mexican Restaurant'. I did however once know a quite good one. It was in Wakefeld just off of Westgate. You had to go under an archway, into a cobbled courtyard and it was there on the right hand side. Enjoy the Westgate run, LeverEndLeverEnd wrote:The Westgate run, 12 pub crawl through Wakefield.

Re: Where are you going tonight?
Used to be a cracking little Mex restaurant opposite the BBC on Oxford Road in Manchester. Sombrero collection hung all over the walls. Food was ace but I once took the skin off the roof of my mouth with enchiladas or something with cheese.Bruce Rioja wrote:The fourth great lie is 'I know a brilliant Mexican Restaurant'. Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Well, I'm most upset. I wasn't groped once. Not even from Mrs H. It seems they were more interested in RW than me.bobo the clown wrote:Just keep that Wolves fan under control H.Always hopeful wrote:...and with the weather as it is tonight, it might be even worseBijou Bob wrote:A work colleague of mine took her husband 2 years ago to see RW at the Etihad.
