Mr GG's just returned home from the youth group he runs to tell me one of the lads who goes (or used to) who has been battling cancer for 2 and a half years is having treatment withdrawn - he's got about 2 weeks to live, he's 15. Feeling so sad and I barely know the lad. Life sucks at times.

Thanks lads, it's going to be tough for Mr GG when the worst happens. Going to have a lot of distraught teenagers to deal with in the youth group when the worst happens.

Aw bless. He'll now be able to indulge himself in the pastimes of the southern idle - walking the dog, sea kayaking (in a kayak specifically designed for the sea) photography. Oh wait.................

Feeling somewhat dubious about this list of female '20 feel good factors.'

I think it's fair to say plucked eyebrows, manicures and a full face of make up do not make me feel good. However it is a more diverse and interesting list then the male equivalent which would probably read:

1. Doing a big fart
2 huge beery belches.

Good luck with that Bruce. They make it as difficult as possible to leave then you'll get never ending phone calls and letters asking you to come back.

You have to give them notice of a month AFTER the next payment ... then they try and bombard you with calls and mails to see if they can persuade you otherwise.

I think telling them the account holder is being taken into a home (or died) is about the only way to get them off your back.
