Sheff Wed's Hillsborough
Aston Villa's Villa Park
Everton's Goodison Park
England's Wembley

I'm guessing, but fairly confident with -
Manure's Old Trafford
Leed's Elland Road
Newcastle's St James Park

I have absolutely no idea about the eigth, but purely from a geographical perspective -
Portsmouth's Fratton Park

IIRC matches were played at Roker Park Sunderland as well.

EDIT: I don't think there were any played at Newcastle.

^ I've tinternetted it. You are correct
Sunderland's Roker Park replaces Newcastle's St James.
and Bruce's White City wipes out Portsmouth's Fratton Park.
Which just leaves Leed's Elland Road as incorrect.
I don't think I'd have guessed the eighth one in a million years...

Bugger was too late! I knew that! T'was the ground where North Korea beat the Italians. Happened before I was born but still makes me laugh to this day :D

Ah, so the North Koreans were in '66. Did El Salvador (with a red sash on white shirts) play 66, or was it 70? I'm going to have to look it up. I always supported the underdogs with 'interesting' countries as a lad.

Asking and then answering my own questions, this is bad.
El Salvador played in the 70 World Cup Finals, but it wasn't them with the white shirt and red sash...
Who was it who played in that strip and in which World Cup?
