Salford, I just tried working out how many seconds I've been married. It was a pointless exercise as it seemed to keep changing.
Congratulations, well done and, of course, keep it up.

Happy about BOTH cats and the dog taking a nap together on the bed. World War III in my house is coming to an end I think

It's just the Christmas armistice. When you notice them having a kick about in the back garden you know that shelling will commence again shortly.Gooner Girl wrote:Happy about BOTH cats and the dog taking a nap together on the bed. World War III in my house is coming to an end I think

I have a little statement at the top of my web site, thebish. It reads: "Dobbing in an arsonist is not dobbing in a mate".
Be afraid, very afraid.

Ah, come on, Monty, you looked it up once before. Your memory's getting as bad as mine, old man.

Thanks. This actually began to make sense after I realized that Victorians were not people who lived a century and a half ago.thebish wrote:here you go, MontyMontreal Wanderer wrote:Dujon wrote:I have a little statement at the top of my web site, thebish. Got my seat back. That didn't take long. Or much effort. (*master strategist*)

Re: Today I'm happy about......
because my aunt is gravely ill, my mum has kind of inherited her little dog - a Tibetan Spaniel.. my mum has three border collies..Lost Leopard Spot wrote:Got my seat back. That didn't take long. Or much effort. (*master strategist*)
anyway - the clever spaniel has one over on the (supposedly brainy) oldest collie every time. thus:
spaniel comes in - collie is in best bed.
spaniel thinks for a moment....
spaniel jumps on sofa next to mum
collie is jealous so gets out of bed to demand attention
spaniel jumps off sofa and into dog bed
collie looks bemused...
works time and time again...
