Much more subtle. I engaged him in conversation as in "where you from?" via long distance shouting, then pretended I couldn't hear his replies, so I moved in close and personal. REAL CLOSE and personal, and then continued the banal questioning. I've never seen anybody vacate a pub so fast. He's probably gingerist or something.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:You farted didn't you?Lost Leopard Spot wrote:Got my seat back. That didn't take long. Or much effort. (*master strategist*)

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

anyway - the clever spaniel has one over on the (supposedly brainy) oldest collie every time. thus:
spaniel comes in - collie is in best bed.
spaniel thinks for a moment....
spaniel jumps on sofa next to mum
collie is jealous so gets out of bed to demand attention
spaniel jumps off sofa and into dog bed
collie looks bemused...
works time and time again...

Wouldn't work with mine though. Her bestedt bed IS the space next to my missus.

Was not necessary, but I could have sat there and conjured one, if necessary. That's how important my seat is.bobo the clown wrote:Was there a bulge in your pants also ?Lost Leopard Spot wrote:Much more subtle. I think it started out with someone etching out a couple of giant knobs .. and then people added around them to disguise it.

My dad has blagged a disabled persons rail card because he is the tiniest bit deaf, and now often gloats how his rail fares are half the price of mine.... Was worth it today tho when he innocuously handed the ticket inspector the wrong ticket and she began slowly shouting 'SORRY SIR THIS IS THE WRONG TICKET.... ARE YOU OK, WOULD YOU LIKE ANY HELP' giving it hand signals the lot. Pmsl.

Not just happy, but stunned that the Egyptian people are sticking two fingers up to Islamisation - or whatever other euphemism you'd like to call it...
