All of which is far from ideal. If he reneges on a verbal agreement and a signed pre-contract and disrupts the plans for the new season then I consider that an issue.boltonboris wrote:So if he has signed, we get money. What's the issue? Are we genuinely of the opinion that a player is a bit of a c*nt if he'd rather play in the Premier League, than play for us?? Because even as Bolton fan, I know what I'd rather do!
In other news, Cardiff are supposedly interested in Pratley. I'd let him go for literally fvck all, if it meant getting his million a year off the bill for somebody who can at least play the game.
It doesn't make him the Antichrist and I won't be protesting on the town hall steps, but in my opinion it would make him just a bit of a cnut.
Like thebish says, he should make his mind up, then we can either forget it or start negotiating on a fee and looking elsewhere.
^^
He's either with us or not

Scoop: My mate says he's just seen Connor Wilkinson and Hayden White getting the train to Horwich. He has described them both as 'massive'. There you go then.
Update: They have in fact missed the train. There is a lot of arm waving apparently.

These two are going to be found in Nando's most evenings aren't they !?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I'd definately sell the improving Darren Pratley. Not as if he looked like our best midfielder for most of the season and improved vastly under Freedman. Massive engine on him, scored a few goals and good defenively too. So yeh lets sell him for "fvck all"

Perhaps Dougie said "Come in for some training and they got confused.Zulus Thousand of em wrote:Two professional footballers in "not owning big feck off expensive 4x4's" shocker!Beefheart wrote:Scoop: My mate says he's just seen Connor Wilkinson and Hayden White getting the train to Horwich. Don't try to be a great man. Just be a man and let history make up its own mind.

Dougie likes his spoilers, I do think he has a place in the team
If it ment freeing up finance for spearing, then yes in a heart beat

Can't see Spearing coming back now. He'll either be loaned/sold to a lower Premier League team or Rogers might keep him to see what he can do.
Wouldn't be surprised if by January and we are top 2 of championship (A BIG 'IF') then maybe I could see him coming to us.

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
You're right. He didn't look like our best midfielder all season or for any part of it. He did improve. He went from useless to ok. If Pratley is the difference between us getting promoted or not next season I'll show my arse on the town hall steps. If someone wants to buy him and Dougie has a replacement then sell him we should.borgetti_wanderers wrote:I'd definately sell the improving Darren Pratley. Can't stand the Pratz haters. He's an easy mock.
The lads tries his all and is effective in a way that most football fans don't see.
In a correctly coached team, he WILL be a useful asset next year.
Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
Spearing isn't wanted by the Bindippers, he's to be sold and if no takers then loaned.
Pfffft.

From The Oracle on Twitterererer:
Schmo on Twittererererer: How likely is this winger joining al?
The Oracle: Loan agreed. But up to his club to stick with it.

and... what winger?
Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
Regarding this winger who is suppose to be coming in on loan.. our odds have come in from 20/1 to 5/1 to sign Raheem Sterling on loan this summer.

It could be Scott Sinclair.ChrisC wrote:Regarding this winger who is suppose to be coming in on loan.. our odds have come in from 20/1 to 5/1 to sign Raheem Sterling on loan this summer.

Do not trust atoms. They make up everything.
Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
I'd be happier with Sinclair than Sterling. Sterling is going to be an outstanding player but he's maybe not the type of player that Dougie would want, he's fairly disruptive in the dressing room from what I've heard

Is he one of those that always whips people with a wet towel or something?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.
