Ah, Charley Large Big Potatoes syndrome.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Is this "massive" as in tall, well -built, finely honed figures of athletes or fat b*st*rds?Beefheart wrote:Scoop: My mate says he's just seen Connor Wilkinson and Hayden White getting the train to Horwich. He has described them both as 'massive'. There you go then.
Update: They have in fact missed the train. There is a lot of arm waving apparently.

In what way is Sterling “disruptive in the dressing room”?
A lad his age, at a club like Liverpool… If he was giving it big time, he’d be out of there like a shot. No way would the senior players or management accept it from a junior. In fact, I’ve heard that he keeps his head down and works hard as fvck. I imagine he barely says boo to a goose at Melwood. But again, it’s all just hearsay.

Fair do's BB. I'd heard from two separate Liverpool fans that he's a bit of a 'Charlie Big Potato' and that's the reason he got shunted to the reserves for some games at the end of the season. Now, that could all be balls but it would make sense how he'd gone from first pick every week to the reserves

Heard the same as TKIZ to be fair. But its somewhat irrelevant as even if he was the biggest arsehole on Merseyside we'd still all chew our right arms off to sign him as he's a very good player.
But it isn't going to happen.

I was assuming that's because he was playing shit. Whenever I saw him, I thought.. Trier, but just a sprinter in boots.TKIZ! wrote:Fair do's BB. Lots of Twittererererer users are guessing that it's either:
Ross Barkley
Scott Sinclair
Raheem Sterling

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Yes/no/maybe/could be/won't/will/might/happen?
As in...
we'll definitely sign someone if they agree terms and the deal goes through to plan, as Bolton Wanderers is a football club, and football players tend to want to play, primarily, at football clubs. Probably.
Its a piece of piss this groundless speculation.

Both Bobo and LK spot on with their Nixon assessments - a lot of what he says is might/maybe/it'll be in the paper and although I'll give him his dues for getting a fair few right it can also be extremely annoying. Sells his paper(s) though

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
So he's said we're trying to sign a winger on loan. And describes him as "tasty". And from the premiership.
I don't think not naming him is being vague. It's because primarily he'll want the story in the paper first but presumably he also doesn't want to piss of his source by giving the information away too early and scuppering any potential deal.
He wrote about Beckord and Hall weeks, and weeks ago and neither of those are as yet officially Bolton players. I'd hardly say thats vague.
It's just the nature of transfers, taking their time and sometimes breaking down late on.
Anyone who thinks he hasn't got a reliable and seemingly constant source at Bolton feeding him accurate stories must be completely deluded. I don't think the BN have beaten him to a story yet. Clearly the club have their prorities in who they give the information out to, for whatever reason that may be. But it certainly is clear as day.

Sorry, just to sum up, he's fired off a load of names with the precision of a blunderbuss, the majority of whom haven't signed (and, prediction time! probably never will) and theres nothing vague about it?
I'm 100% consistent too.
We'll probably sign some players this summer, from different leagues and of different ages, if they're available and everyone agrees to the deal and we have the money. And Dougie wants them. But I'm very confident that we're looking at football players, nudge nudge, wink, wink.

Could be Miyaichi again!
Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
Odds on the winger being Zaha??
Red fans I know seem to think he will spend more time out on loan this season, can't see why myself as surely he must be worth at least a try for them.
