Re: Today I'm happy about......
I guess I should be well happy because today is six weeks without a cigarette. Still get a few cravings despite the electronic cig, but I haven't given in or flicked a lighter in that time..

Won our pool league's lower divisions knockout cup today. One trophy and £30 better off. I'll take that.

Good work, Sir. Now give up the e-cig - it's only the habit that you're stuck with now, and believe me, it will go. Well done.TANGODANCER wrote:I guess I should be well happy because today is six weeks without a cigarette. I won the night! Whether this was down to me being actually any good or having the most friends in the audience, who knows! Pic of trophy to come.

Cheers! Still pretty shocked to be honest! Even if it was a tiny little gig, it's still made me
a lot.

Well, as above, he only bloody won it!
A very creditable effort.
He held it together admirably after I almost threw him off track by reacting too enthusiastically to the mention of his hometown. He then did the only sensible thing and picked on me.
He beat a girl with tremendous legs in a contest decided by volume of applause, much in the same way Spartans elected their gerousia, so well done that man.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Wow, well done TD. What made you quit? You've been one of the staunchest champions of smoking since I've been on this site.

I was too occupied, as the standard of Kint's groupies was exceptional... he brought a colleague - a hot American girl who had done a year at Cambridge, and the one person I know who lives nearby is a burlesque dancer.
