Unfortunately that would be difficult. Our servers are in Derby, data storage, processing, and proxy gateways are in Manchester, my office is in Matlock, and IT Support are now in Newcastle. Long gone are the days when you could actually meet them in person

Yes I only see him for part of Sunday as he started a new job up there in January and therefore goes up early on the Monday stays over till Friday, goes to Gloucestershire Friday evening to spend Saturday with his new girlfriend and their kids and then comes back here Sunday mid afternoon, so basically me and my sister see him for 6 hours a week which is disgraceful considering my mum only died 18 months ago and yet within 6 months of her dying he had found somebody else and spends the whole of Saturday and halve of Sunday with her (and her kids), He will occasionally make exceptions to that but only occasionally.

But as I have said before as far as people who know us are concerned he comes home to our house every night and spends the weekend with us.

Dan - I'm genuinely a little worried here. How old is your sister Dan? Should she be left on her own all week?

You don't think your dad was seeing that woman before your mum passed away do you?

That what I was worried about, Harry - the first part about teenagers living alone not dad's social life (although I know that can bother the kids a lot). I think Dan is just 18 and if Sis is younger this is a problem.

For a second there I just developed a sympathetic headache and gut churn. For a second, then it cleared up. I recommend Alkaseltzer, bacon sandwich, and on with the work if your eyes can focus on the screen. If they can't, I find it is very therapeutic to type randomly with my eyes closed, and every now and then find the 'select all' and hit delete. Works wonders.

No. But that does remind me of the days when we used to mix wine and cider, giving it the name wider, and then not remembering anything.
