Probably wants big wages at QPR or would fancy the Premier League, don't see why he would swap Champions League football for the Championship though.Tals-biggest-fan wrote:QPR are looking at Celtics Gary Hooper, cheaper than Jordan Rhodes and arguably as good infront of goal as him aswell
Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
Hooper is wanted by Norwich as well. Suppose it comes down to Hooper wanting money or Premiership football.

It'll be the cash.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

My almost hometown club Brøndby had both Peter Schmeichel and Brad Friedel on the books in the early 90's. Pretty decent scouting that.
Oh coitus!

Beckford deal is sorted at the Leicester end now and should go through quickly now. Also says Spearing has turned down Blackburn because he wants to come here.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Can't see owt in the Mirror. Me neither... Staggered out of my holiday bed and across the sndy dunes to the holiday shop and bought (aye - paid real money) for a copy of the Sunday Mirror - only to discover that there is not one solitary word in it about BWFC at all - the square root of buggerall raised to the power of tit-all...Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Can't see owt in the Mirror. It does find a whole spare page for a story about Katie Price's ex's new girlfriend selling some of the stuff Katie Price's (cage-fighter) ex bought for Katie but that Katie didn't want... Apparently, Katie is very cross about it...

Two stories in people. Beckford has supposedly sorted out his wrangle with Leicester and can now join us (believe it when you see it).
Spearing has apparently turned Blackburn down cos he wants to join us. But now we have to agree a few for him. If we want to.......

I can see Beckford being confirmed tomorrow morning. We have already done our bit this end so should be sorted tomorrow now.
If Spearing is playing hardball and wants to come here then I can see us knocking Liverpool down to around 1 million.

Don't know if this is old news, but interesting if Beckford deal falls flat.

Not seen that before. It describes him as prolific, which is encouraging. That's one adjective that's been missing when describing our strikers for too long.Turkish Trotter wrote:http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11672/8823801

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
News to me, although this sort of rumour rarely goes far. Anyways he's a 29yr old Zambian who's had four decent seasons at Utrecht - a goal every 200 minutes in a team that's finished (chronologically) 7th, 9th, 11th and 5th.Turkish Trotter wrote:http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11672/8823801
