For some reason, nobody seems interested in coming to Chorley but it'll feel weird to be able to hear the match from my house and know it's Bolton, I feel like I have a duty to go, ha!

Many coming to Carlisle? Managed to bag myself a free ticket for it. Best thing to come to town since I've been up here!

I might come, but only if the Magpie's Nest's open and I can spoon-feed you supper.89bwfc89 wrote:I no longer have a view of the big lawn, I've moved back to the other officeLost Leopard Spot wrote:But look on it as another opportunity to enlighten the rest of us on events you have a unique perspective upon (like your view on the Reebok lawn from your window) as opposed to undergoing a solitary experience devoid of friends, family, and acquaintances.Lost Leopard Spot wrote:Sorry. A Wanderer's 11 beat Skelmersdale United tonight 1-0. Josh Vela penalty won it.

Re: Pre Season Friendlies
Sounds like the Dev boys were pushed hard by Skem, who are now in the level-7 Northern Premier League top flight, with goalkeeper Jay Lynch earning headline notice in a 1-0 win.
Hayden White and Joe Riley started - looks like Riley was again at centre-back - as did matchwinner Josh Vela, new boy Gary Fraser and erstwhile first-team benchwarmer Sanmi Odelusi; Cian Bolger will hope his late appearance as a sub was to help him sharpen up rather than confirm he's still 'only' at dev level.
Lynch, White (Bolger, 82), Riley (Holding, 70), Threlkeld, Kellett, Vela (Kelly, 65), Fraser, Walker (Newby, 65), Odelusi, Youngs, Ferrier.

He'll be putting in full seasons at Wet Spam yet.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Pretty grim stuff, early days though. The music on that clip was as bad as the old roadrunner video music. At least that was interspersed with Higson commentary.ChrisC wrote:Highlights from the Rotherham game

That highlights video was like a territorial army advert. I was expecting an explosion on the screen when Hall was taking that freekick.
Be the best.

Who was the centre half who came rushing out for their second goal? Fecking schoolboy stuff that.the-Bowtun-Warrior wrote:Good finish from Marv.

Do not trust atoms. They make up everything.

Joe Riley, not sure he's the answer to the centre back position.malcd1 wrote:Who was the centre half who came rushing out for their second goal? Fecking schoolboy stuff that.the-Bowtun-Warrior wrote:Good finish from Marv.
