Not really, apart from the fact we need another RB if Mears leaves. Riley is injured again and out for a good while with ligament damage I think it was.

We'd need a new centre back as well. In fact we need one now, arguably two. But I'm guessing our only hope is of shunting Mills and hoping we can get someone better.

And listen to this, Gartside effectively saying we can't invest more money in players due to FFP rules.

When did this happen? Sure I saw him warming up at half time on Saturday, I could be wrong though it was at the opposite end and my specs were a bit mucky.

Just checked and he was not on the bench. I'm off to specsavers on Monday :D

Not heard about an injury though, any info?

Happened in one of the pre season games. Can't remember which one though.

Someone (as yet unnamed) is said to have done a cruciate.

On Thursday, at Rotherham, Riley left the pitch on 70 minutes.

1+1=2 ? or 1+1 = 11 ?

Time will tell.

Didn't Medicine Head have it that 1+1 is 1?

He tweeted the other day "I have absolutely zero luck" with a sad face thing. So if there's an injury, we should assume its him. I'd have assumed it was him before seeing that tweet in fairness.

I'd have been wary of getting rid of Mears anyway, given Riley was always likely to be injured. Would leave us Tierney and Baptiste, relying on a constantly injured Riley on one side, and Ream on the other.

Mills I'd like to see go. I don't dislike him, but he seems the least favoured of our three big slow centre-halves. If we're getting rid of centre-halves, there's one obvious candidate, but, though I'm not even nearly convinced by him at left-back, I think it's safe to say even he can't be worse than Knight, Wheater or Mills would be there! Jeeessus.

So, keep Mears, get rid of Mills. Hope.

Absolutely need a centre-half and winger (on loan?). Also like some more, but they're essential.
