As if worthy doesn't wear that shit tartan stuff all the time. Double bluff methinks, wardrobe full of the stuff.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

If there's any Tartan in my wardrobe, it's likely to be

a) slippers or
b) a rug, to go with me flask.

As it happens, I have neither. :)

Highlights of Shrewsbury here FWIW. Some of the attacking play looks super nice. The defending looks well, whatever the exact opposite is.

Does anyone know if the Real Betis game is a 1st team game or a Bolton All Stars one?

What gives? Zat Knight is what gives. He was also partly to blame for the first goal as well as the last as he turned his back on the striker.

I don't think he is good as Bruce thinks he is. :D

aye - my point... if Dougie is a build-it-from-the-back merchant - why hasn't he moved to strengthen the team defensively - he sees the same games we do - the same Knight (and - sorry to be a party-pooper) Wheater is not much more solid - he is cumbersome and clumsy enough to have a few penalties in him too...

I think people overstate Wheater's shortcomings, he had a couple of red cards but I don't think he's as much of a liability as that might suggest. Much better on the ball than Knight, more dominant and just generally gets stuck in.

He's signed Tierney and Baptiste (and White). Thats three defenders there. I'd like a centre half. I'm sure Dougie would too, but clearly there isn't the budget or the ability to strengthen every position in the side at this stage.

He's only signed Beckford and Hall and as senior attacking players and we had a need for a winger (still do) and most people felt a striker to trouble the net was required as well. Presumably they came up before his centre half targets did. Now he's got his hands tied for whatever reason.....
