These two things offset and as such I've decided this belongs in this thread.
Twelve. Twelve packs!! :whack:

12!

I got just one and a smile off the girls.

Was supposed to be in London for work + leaving drinks for my closest working colleague, the online depature boards looked like there was at least a chance, turned up to see blank boards so gave up.

Why are there no trains in or out of Piccadilly? The wrong sort of heat by any chance?

^ and isn't that building ugly. It has to be one of the worst designed buildings on the planet, all lopsided and top heavy.

I've learned that a certain golf-playing only connect fan from a forum not too far away from here once kissed my girlfriend's younger sister! All I'll say is thank god it was the sister

I've just done a bit of research and now know who it is.

Ha, small world. I must have been what, 15 at the time?! How on earth did this come up?

Apparently around that age yes. I think the mutual link was spotted via the same method you did your research - that 'who you may know' thing or similar.

I bet it was a mad house with that lot.

I do remember thinking her older sister was 'cool'. Ha. How much older is she?

To be honest, my memory is shocking and I barely remember it! Do they still live in that nice house on the fiendishly fast moving Welsh Road?

Haha, there are two older sisters, three and five years older

The family have since moved but I heard that old place was quite something. Apparently you were once escorted off the premises when dad came home.

Ah, well it was the one you are consorting with that I remember - the eldest must have been away at uni by then.

I have no memory of that ejection - maybe I block these things out! (Or maybe I didn't realise I'd been ejected?!)

Perhaps I confused with how I wrote that - You were apparently smuggled away by little sister as big sister ran interference, rather than being turfed out by dad!

Well. I 'quoted' the text and saw a Manchester Evening News url for the image. When I copied and put it in the browser it gave an error message. Perhaps I am wrong to call an http// url a link. Sorry.

aye -it is simply the address of a picture in img tags. you put links in url tags. if you put the address of a picture in img tags on a forum then it doesn't make a link - because it isn't a link - it isn't clickable - it just tells the mesage board where to find the picture. links go in url tags.

Well, I think I just lost the will to live.
