Lies. Prufrock and I saw him do a Cruyff turn against Watford and he DIDN'T fall over.boltonboris wrote:He earns in excess of a million pounds every season.
Darren Pratley. Possibly the worst footballer in the division. Making millions out of us.
Get rid.

He is not even the worst player in our team! IMHO.boltonboris wrote:He earns in excess of a million pounds every season.

In all honesty though, I do think he's absolutely dire. You can train absolutely anybody to run around in circles non stop for 90 minutes..

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
I think it unlikely we will do any more business before the last week of August, unless we are already at an advanced stage of negotiation. We strengthened the squad quite early and given our first four fixtures against Burnley, QPR Reading and Forest. Dougie will have a better indication of were we stand against 3 teams who must people would tip for play off contention at the least.
Couple that with the fact most loan deals are done in the last week of the window, depending who we can get on loan may dictate how we spend the remainder of the budget.

He wants specific players in asap. And not loans, Spearing and Moritz.

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
It is a managers job to constantly want to improve the squad, and get the money from the board to achieve this. I am sure if it was an option Dougie would like Ronaldo and Bale with Suarez as back up. I suspect Eddie wants to see were we are before throwing more money into Dougies back pocketBWFC_Insane wrote:That isn't what Dougie said last night.gizmothevoomer wrote:I think it unlikely we will do any more business before the last week of August, unless we are already at an advanced stage of negotiation. Still can't believe captain clueless and the pies got Grant Holt for 1.5m upfront and we mustn't have bothered...

I doubt he's a "Dougie" player.the-Bowtun-Warrior wrote:Still can't believe captain clueless and the pies got Grant Holt for 1.5m upfront and we mustn't have bothered...
It'd be like a new KD, without the Emma.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

If he ever did, that's a million miles away from what KD ever did.

Correction he wants to play for Everton and will take a pay cut from £70,000 to £35,000 a week. Yes that's right QPR were paying him £70,000 a week.CrazyHorse wrote:Joey Barton wants to come back to England and is happy to take a pay cut.

Me? I would yeah. Great player.
He's a knobhead like but he wouldn't be the first one we've had at bwfc so there's no point in me suddenly developing morals now.
Besides, we need someone to get the yellow cards for us now that Davo has left.
