And they'll probably beat us by the same score come opening day.

But it's only the first game of a long season......It'll be right. Right?

I think the team we saw on Fri will be the team for Burnley but (please oh please) replacing Andrews with somebody, anybody else.

Really like the look of Tierney and Hall. Oh and Odelusi when he came on I thought was lively too.

Tierney looks like the next fans favourite, is a tough tackler, loves to get his head to a ball in the air and looks a solid player but can also get forward.

BTW
Very few positives from the game at Chester. Dev squad with C Davies up front. Got to say he really didn't get into the game and was in the pocket if the Chester CB. Very disappointing from mills as well. Not so much the defending, Bolger was pretty solid at his side, but his distribution was shocking. Played the long diagonal ball over the top to Davies all game. Got to ask the question, Knight does the same in the 1st team so is it being coached like that? Sincerely hope it's just them and not a planned tactic.

Also, the booing, I heard some too but I honestly think it was kids doing it to take the pee. I don't know, I might just be being naive.

I heard he was a hard case. Bit of a Paul Robinson type then.

With ability (from what i've seen in most games he's played) thrown in as we'll.

According to someone on Twitter, Mears is playing in midfield against Macclesfield tonight.

This is the team: Lonergan, White, Kellett, Mills, Ream, Gregus, Lester, Mears, Davies, Eaves, Odelusi

Team played ok tonight at Macclesfield yes Mears played in midfield as where he played most of the game on saturday as well looked ok passing and work rate excellent from him. Eaves looking sharper and nice finish from a good move down the flank. Davies not involved that much and 2 centre back pairing (Mills&Ream) did ok all in all good workout......
