Moritz

So...

it seems we've bagged Dougie's man. I know next to nothing about him - so this is the place to educate thebish about Moritz.

1) has he got a first name
2) is he any good
3) what's his best position
4) is he a different kind of player to Hall, Eagles, Lee, Mavis - if so, how?
4.5) is he dougie's lovechild?
5) what else do i need to know about him

1) Andre
2) No idea
3) "Number 10 role" from what DF said at the forum.
4) Don't think he's a fast winger in the Hall/Eagles mode. Think he's classy on the ball from what I've heard.
4.5) Dougie said of him at the fans forum "I've done some research into the sort of player Bolton fans like and I think you'll love Andre. He's a real classy Brazilian player"....so possibly.
5) Has an Italian passport (as well as a Brazilian one).

Palace fans say he is a free kick expert in scoring and delivery. Very good on the ball.

I've done some research into the sort of player Bolton fans like?

I can just imagine a smoke filled room full of multi-coloured bubbling test tubes spewing out dry ice and Dougie in a lab coat with mad stuck-up hair screaming "Eureka!!" as he holds up one of said boiling, smoky liquids.

And, coincidentally, its a player from his old club. Which used to be a crime around these parts until we opened the new high-tech "what Bolton fans want" lab.

I don't recall anyone saying a manager shouldn't sign their former players.

As long as they've done their research, right?

5) He speaks Turkish fluently. He has played the majority of his senior career in Turkey. Does that help?

Calm down. Let's judge him on his Moritz first.

It'll be a step change on 12m ago if we can make use of free kicks and corners.

Just need to learn to defend now and it's "most systems go !"

It's a 13 minute video in which he scores a pen, a couple free kicks, wins a pen and sets up countless others with good footwork, passing and great vision.

dougie seems to think that we needed to sort out the service to our strikers... maybe with the right service, Cravies/Jeckford/D'gog will score hatsfull... they'll need to if we don't strengthen the back four...
