exactly. Apart from anything I know more about Horwich than I do about Wokingham and being that I am basically being forced to move to Kent (a part of the world I detest immensely) I have had to look into moving somewhere else so within the next 12 months I will be moving hopefully to Horwich if not then Bolton. I do wander sometimes why I am the target of such vile hatred from some of you.

Its better then being dragged to f*ecking Essex. I like Bolton its people are in particular a different breed to those you will find down here they are friendly and from what I saw between the ages of 0 - 8 look after each other, You don't get that in Wokingham, people don't even speak to their neighbours, not even a polite hello. Of course this is not a case of only in Bolton it could and does happen anywhere and everywhere, there is no need to be so defensive.

I have grown another inch since Charlton as well, now over 6ft 3. The thing is that I used to be lanky and people used to occasionally have ago, yet in the last year or so I have filled out a bit. BTW I am the smallest male in my extended family. Uncle 6FT 6, Dad 6ft 5, Grandad was 6ft 4 all my dads side of the family. My sister is only 5ft 6 so think how she looks compared to me and my dad!

The thing is Bruce is that it was a joke hence going in the happy thread. However you did not see that and thought I was taking the mick. I maybe should have thought before posting, I should have reworded my sentence better. I know that Bolton is not that bad, in fact some bits are quite nice and I can tell you that while it may not be as well off as Wokingham the people in Bolton more than make up for it. Everyone looks after each other and I saw when my mum died just how poor the community spirit is around here.
I have made it clear to people that I would much rather live in Horwich than in Wokingham just as I prefer Bolton to Reading.
