What about '...the boy Line-acre'?

'I said it right that time!'
'No you didn't.'

Ask your dad.
I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.

I tend to find with Ferguson what pisses me off the most is the constant reference to Salecs. Who the f*ck is he?

I think he's related to Srallan.

See if I was on You've Been Fired I'd keep referring to Alan Sugar as 'Alan Sugar'. 'Yes Alan Sugar', 'No, Allan Sugar', 'Thanks for the opportunity Alan Sugar', 'Shove your pretend job up your arse Alan Sugar', 'Amstrad? Wha-ha-hahaha! Oh Dear Alan Sugar'

And see how long it'd take for him to lose his rag.

I've seen him wince a couple of times when that Karen Bird calls him Alan. She's the only one that does, all the rest fawn over the bulbous nosed geezer. I bet she's got videos or something. I'm guessing that from the lascivious use she puts his name to.

ahhh - you'd subtly keep changing the spelling of his first name as you said it - so as to annoy him?

Oh he'd know all right. I might even put 3 L's in there and say it in a Welsh accent a couple of times.

I've not watched You've Been Fired for years but I always found it an excellent programme to talk over and commentate on.

From the start where he says 'I don't like schmoozers, I don't like users' and then struggles to find a third thing I used to chip in with 'I don't mind those Henry the Hoovers' or something like that.

When the nuggets are back in the room waiting for His grand entrance I'd always have him muttering 'Phew, 'kin stinks in there' as he came through the doors.

I'd pepper his questioning with 'Don't fire me Sralan' whining through his character assinations and....sorry, I've had a can of coke and I'm not used to it.

Just to say that You've Been Fired is a good show to talk over.

Pooh.

I keep using the bloody phone prior to the lenses going in.

Nonetheless the crowd reaction that day was both very funny and incredibly rude.
On an end of season DVD there was a tribute to Dave Higson which was full of stories about him. Apparently he was the announcer for that game and when Ugo Ehiogu was brought out he apparently said, 'and on comes Eggi, Eho, Egu... I can't pronounce your name son but good luck anyway.'

I wasn't there so I can't verify it, but i think it was good old David Lee who told the story.

That's what I was referring to!

Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

Well, and I suppose hat this could land me in Pedant's Corner here, but anyway;

The Per in Per Frandsen is actually pronounced 'Pier', and not 'Pair'.
The Pedersen in Henrik Pedersen is actually pronounced 'Peed-er-sen', and not 'Pedd-er-sen'.
The Tofting in Stig Tofting is actually pronounced 'Turf-ting' and not 'Toff-ting' (This is due to the o being an ø).

I know this after having had Danes take the piss out of me. :(

Commentators always seemed to have a problem with Ricardo Gardner too.

How many times did you hear him referred to as 'Anthony' or 'Stephen',

It wouldn't surpise me if he was confused with Graham Garden the way the lazy swinces carry on.

How about this? Can't believe no one has picked up on the number of times Lawro and Claridge especially constantly mix-up the Supers with Blackburn.

I don't know of anyother clubs, even ones like North/Southampton, Boourne/Portsmouth or Manchu/Colchester United that get the 'taters in a guddle but for some reason....

You'd sort of 'semi' understand it if they said 'Blackpool' instead of 'Blackburn' but they don't.

I'm glad Lawro's got the boot and hope and pray that Clem follows him.
I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.
