It's called 'Lookout'.

It was free 'n all. There were 2 extra features for a fee, but I've not gone there yet.

The gremlins are at it again. Posing as Internet Security they blocked off all my programmes including McCaffee and Malaware. They tried the "you need to download this to solve the problem". (which I didn't do of course). I'd done nothing to aquire this shxte but couldn't move it. Blocked everything. Eventually used the wife's laptop to get info on this and, by using safemode and Malaware Chameleon brought up 12 Trojans. Scanned and cleaned them and fxck me, back they came with 66 mised Trojans and Pups. Eventually got rid by using Chameleon again, but this one is a real bxstard. Watch out for it.

You'll convert. Give it a few months and to pass the time whilst a raging sandstorm is penning you in indoors, you'll no doubt 'entertain' us with an hour long vid showing how you made your latest sausages using 14.99% iced water.

A bit of a weird summer here. Not been that hot. Not been getting much above 43 so far, so getting out plenty at the moment :D They're deliberating if Ramadan is finished at the moment, so it could be about to get even better. No videos from me

Done nothing to acquire it??? You are too old to be visiting sites that do that sort of thing to your computer.

I think it was you that asked about all the dodgy downloads on stream sites. I never get caught with them. Just go to full-screen and they disappear.

I'm probably one of the least adventurous browsers going Monty. McCafee usually tells me all the safe sites. Really don't know where that one came from.

I pointed them out on a site you suggested advising caution is all... either way - it's easily done - you will have clicked something or downloaded something at some point... you've definitely got caught with something!

it's fecking irritating!

if he's still runnin' xp / ie6, it'll be that.

.. and it stops getting patched in april.

at least with win7 you get the "you need Admin privledges (sp?) to do that, please type password" warnings.

do all dodgy shit from a linux usb drive, the windows viruses dont know what to do, and when you turn it off, its mostly forgotten.

in fact booting a linux pendrive and running clamAV from that to scan the DERPfected hard drive might mend his prob. or stop it booting altogether when it deletes the infected DLL.

i dunno.

buy a chromebook ?

Yep. Got that. Got out my Linux usb driven clamdigger and booted a System Restore with it whilst cleaning the screen windows with an anti-virus cloth. Sorted.

TV advice:

I'm looking, for the first time in my life, to get a TV in my room. We've got one with all the Virgin jazz in the living room, but I want to take my Xbox back down, and also be able to watch films and stuff on a better screen. The current one I'm looking at is this:

http://www.tesco.com/direct/technika-22 ... d=215-4213" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

22" by somebody called 'Technika'. DVD player and free-view built in. £129. What do y'all reckon? Any better options? Are Technika shit?
