Guess Eagles knock was a bit worse than thought. Shame, but our line up looks healthy and Hall and Odelusi plus Moritz on the bench. I'm liking it..

What I'd like today is a a clean sheet to show our defence are getting it together. Soft goals cost us a lot laSt season so I'm hoping we're going to sort that. Hopefully, a win by two goals.

Atmosphere's apparently good as the players trot out. Tannoy sounds like something off a World War II submarine broadcasting underwater. Massive noise from the home lads..And away we go....

Reading make the early play but their long ball goes out for a goalkick. Guthrie figures well and early and sets an attack going. Kamara has to tackle well then, and Guthrie scythes N'Gog down and we get a free. And...Spearing takes and...cleared. Readong come quickly and Wheater clears.

Bricking should be reserved for the last 10 minutes!

Bit of head tennis and we clear and Knight guilty of being a bit sloppy. Now he clears again and Reading fire one in but we get a free kick. Throw us now and then a free kick to them. Long and cleared but they come back and get a corner. Offside flag takes the pressure off.
Bogdan leathers it but back it comes. Reading throw and they seem to be having a slight edge so far.

Free kick us for handball and then a break but N'gog takes too long to make it count. Reading clear then we collect it an d back it goes. Beckford "putting himself about a bit". Reading still trying to build and come again. Kamara breaks them up and sets us off and now we have a throw in their half. Chungy wins a throw ner their flag. Croiss........1-0..Pratley.... :oyea:

Getin you beauty. COYFWM.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Reading having a go and Spearing avoids a penalty shout. Pratley and a Royals player have a bit of handbags as N'gog given the goal although everybody reckons it was Pratley's. Crowd get a bit noisy and Knight getting a good comment or two. Reading doing the attacking but we keep trying to counter. Pratley fires a cracker just over from 25 yds.
