I honestly didn't notice it .... to busy going "yay !!" and jumping about a bit I think.89bwfc89 wrote:That goal music is embarrassing imo.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Club Rebranding
That half time game was amazing. The target will be 30 yards closer next week.

Are they meant to get it to stop in the target or hit it first bounce so to speak?Athers wrote:That half time game was amazing. The target will be 30 yards closer next week.

I do struggle with the whole hoo-ha, I admit. I prefer to leave that to Rugby League.

Re: Club Rebranding
Seems they're supposed to volley the ball out of their hands onto the target, which was a full 50 yards away. No-one even kicked it hard enough to get within 20 yards

Aye well thats not happening is it? I doubt Bogdan (or any keeper) could do that more than about 1 in 10.Athers wrote:Seems they're supposed to volley the ball out of their hands onto the target, which was a full 50 yards away. No-one even kicked it hard enough to get within 20 yards
Re: Club Rebranding
Absolutely rubbish game but would have helped if the feck* announcer had explained it properly. Apparently the new atmosphere creation strategy is just to turn the PA volume up to 11.BWFC_Insane wrote:Aye well thats not happening is it? Can't wait to hear it omg!Wifi:
One of the main problems being that
water and Wi-Fi do not mix. As an outdoor Stadium the weather is a major factor. Also the volume of people on
matchdays creates difficulties as human bodies are made up of 70% water.![]()
Dunno what on Earth they are doing to the North Stand
RG advised of the progress within the North Stand family area. The X-boxes are now in place, the cinema zone is
ready and most of the fan-memory boards are in place.
Music/announcer
Matchday entertainment was discussed with RG confirming that a new matchday announcer has been recruited
and will start work at the friendly game against Real Betis on Friday 26
th
July. The new announcer will be on the
pitch, prior to the game and at half-time, interacting with the crowd and introducing new competitions and
activities. A new sound system is being installed ahead of the first match of the season that will help deliver a
more audible and powerful pre-match build up.
It was confirmed that the pre-match music has been chosen, with the suggestion from RG that rather than
announcing at a meeting that the attendees hear it at the same time as other supporters at the first match of
the season.
Also lots of stuff about supporter charters, lotteries etc. blah blah
A point about the wifi thing. There already is a wifi network at the Reebok (bwfc-guest). You need the password to access it though and I am guessing it is just for VIPs so they try to keep it quiet.

Re: Club Rebranding
I have sent a strongly worded letter (email) of complaint to the Club regarding the prematch and half time entertainment (I use that word loosely). The music was extremely loud all day the announcer was extremely awfyl IMHO. The music we ran out too was rubbish, I expected "The Wanderer" they used to come out to "My World Is Of Football" in the 70's at least something which informs the world who we are would be good. Anyway, the giving pies away idea is pathetic and very 4th division days sort of thing, not a team aiming for the PL. Whoever thought up this concept is beyond me, the only surprise is they did not bring back the motivational speaker!!

Don't tell Bobo....
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Re: Club Rebranding
Ahh, were they handing them out generally? I hadn't realised that. As I was walking out down the concourse two young girls appeared with a cardboard tray of pies asking politely if anyone would one. As to be expected, Mrs Scutter of Bolton, on gaining confirmation that they were indeed FOC, pushed others aside to grab as many as she possibly could - it was fecking embarrassing, it really was.Norpig wrote:Anyway, the giving pies away idea is pathetic

I didn't see anyone giving away pies. I paid £5.20 for two.Bruce Rioja wrote:Ahh, were they handing them out generally? I hadn't realised that.
