Stewards at the Reebok

Post by FSFwatching » Mon Aug 12, 2013 10:32 am

This weekend a video has been published depicting Stewards at the Reebok using excessive force against supporters:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZRHjcAz ... r_embedded

There have been many Bolton fans commenting that the stewards are often out of order, and I would like to ask what sort of examples we are talking about, and how often do these happen? Is it also commonplace for the stewards to cover up their identification?

Excessive force?
Was he kicking the shit out of him? No.
Do we see the reason why yon lad is being escorted out of the ground? No.

Is this a suggestion?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

If you wear a hi-viz coat to work then gnerally you are a complete cock.

There are exceptions of course. If you're working on the motorway, a building site, a trainline or the flight deck of a aircraft carrier then there is a really need for you to be visible to everyone in a 3 mile radius.

However, stewards at sporting/music events, traffic wardens and car park attendants generally fall into the aforementioned catagory.

People who, at ANY OTHER PERIOD OF HISTORY would find themselves unemployed, unemployable and starving to death in the gutter get to feel like kings for an afternoon when they gather with all their mates and bully people about for £20 and a cup of bovril.

I'm not saying we don't need people who enjoy fighting every now and again. I'd rahter some lunk head gets stuck in to a group of marauding away fans before they get to me but it can't come as a surprise when these bullies are also bullies in their spare time.

We've made a rod for our own backs giving sub-human inbreds the ultimate power.

It's our own fault and we can't complain when our own dog turns on us and bites us.

That's what they've been taught to do.

The whole notion of 'security' was shown for the cobblers it is during the Olympic where a group of job seekers were bused from the West Country, told to doss down under Tower Bridge and then in the morning given an orange bib and a walkie talkie to 'maintain security'.

That's what I reckon anyway.
I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.

I'm sure that if you put 'Madrid Police attacking Bolton supporters' or something similar into Youtube you'll unearth plenty of examples of 'excessive force', Flower.

I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm just pointing out that this particular lunkhead in an orange jacket was hardly whipping the lad about by his hair in a manner reminiscent of what the Hulk did to Loki in Avengers Assemble. In fact he hardly touched him. He may have had hold of his neck mind (from the back, and therefore not strangling his victim), but he was not beating him, pistol-whipping him, punching him, kicking him, karate chopping him, spitting at him, tripping him, spreading cream cheese over him and then licking it off in a rasping manner, nor was he kneeing him in the kidneys, poking his eye out, glassing him, knifing him, hitting him around the head with an iron bar, or dissecting him like what Jack the Ripper liked to do.
Maybe my definition of excessive violence differs in some way to the original poster's.

It's not exactly Biko but it's just a bit childish to keep pushing a lad who is walking away and offering no aggression, no matter what he did to get kicked out. The steward looked like a bullying nobhead who was enjoying himself.

I'll agree with that too, with the caveat we have no idea what caused it in the first place.

I'll also hold my hands up to the other side of the coin that we, as knobbers know no injustice like the ones that get meeted out to us every day of our lives.

I was only doing 60 in a 30 or I'd only stopped on the double yellows for ten minutes while I ran into the dry cleaners - I had my hazzards on, what more do they want?

Our human rights have never been so affected.

We bleat and moan about everything everyone does to us while not giving any consideration to how our actions affect other people.

Nothing that happens to us is OUR fault. It's always somebody else that oversteps the mark, or doesn't do their job properly or or or or.

If you've been affected by comments in this thread had a trip or a fall in the last 40years or just feel agrieved that everyone else is laughing at you and your shitty life please feel free to consult a lawyer.

My mates in the Reading end said he was being a dick and swearing at the stewards throughout the game. I sat with all the tw*ats in the ESL and the stewards were more than happy with the Bolton fans getting a bit excited and constantly having a go at the ref and the best bit was the steward joined in. The stewards at Bolton are superb.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.
