If he wasn't told personally that is a bit poor. Might be a good reason but I'm struggling to think of one. I'd feel sorrier for him if he'd made anything like a telling football contribution in his time with us however. The odd decent penalty and... er..... that's about it. Byebye.

So who's got the transcripts of who said what and when??

'"Nobody really had the decency to even phone me as I was leaving.' doesn't really suggest to me that he hadn't been dealt with in a proper and professional manner. I'm not saying it was one thing or another, but I very much doubt he was told by the tea lady and left to get on with it.

I was going to try to come up with a witty pretend transcript for you Enoch, but then I remembered I have no wit and I'm going out running at 7:30. I'll leave it to ChrisC who owes you one after the Forest thread title debacle.

Well enjoy the run, but I won't be holding my breath on the other thing, more chance of you coming up with something mildly amusing before he gets round to it!

It can work both ways. There's some ungrateful tw@ts out there (Yes, I mean you Michael Ricketts) that are plucked from relative obscurity, think that they are far better than they actually are and piss off to the first club that flutters their eyes at them. A woman scorned .........

Ermm, how did Andrews find out we were happy to let him go unless it was from somebody at the club?

I don't know. Do you?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Have a guess?

He's either been approached direct which is against the rules, or its come through the club who have told either him or his agent that we have accepted an offer from Brighton and he is free to talk to them

Andrews is nothing like the other names mentioned as he was still under contract, it wasn't his birthday and he doesn't own any donkeys

Presumably via the same guy that he had do his bidding for him when we were bringing him in. Was he expecting the red carpet treatment at that point too?

His wife's called Emma though.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
