Top no-frills stuff from Greavsie. Mention of Henin and Big John Higgins bring back a few memories. So nice to see the impression Nat left on people outside of Bolton as well as in it. Thank you sir.

Re: Lofty - RIP
I don't think there could be any better memorial on the field to the Lion of Vienna then our amazing run to Wembley. Following in his footsteps to play on in the cup where he made his impact and a name for Bolton is a great way to honor him in the year of his passing. There could be nothing greater in my mind then seeing our skipper making his mark in the final against Manchester United. RIP Nat.

Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I assure you, it's much more serious that that.

Didn't know where to put this so thought I would dig this topic back up. If any topic deserves a bump then it's Nat's!

Re: Lofty - RIP
Thank you so, so much for that Chris. Bolton will never see another Nat but we'll never forget him. My hero as a lad, my hero as a man. Mr Bolton Wanderers. .

The respect shown to Nat on that program just goes to show what a great man he truly was.

That's a fairly awful tweet considering the subject and why the statue is for.Bruce Rioja wrote:She's still at it.

She really seems one of the most unpleasant people you could choose to meet.

Re: Lofty - RIP
She may well have a point, nut that isn't the point. Hijacking such an occasion to air personal gripes is poor but hardly unexpected.

I think she's great. Quick chorus of Tammy Winnette doing "Stand by Your Man" and it's sorted.
