I don't know whether this is fantastic or appalling. Probably both ...

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-23666339" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
PC Jenkins gave the un-named woman a lift in the force's armed response vehicle before going to a nearby house where they had consensual sex - with his gun apparently "around his ankles" during the act.

"The finding of the police appeals panel that the gun was never out of PC Jenkins' direct and immediate control because it was in a holster, attached to his trousers, which were attached to him, albeit around his ankles, is surprising.

"I am also bemused by the panel's conclusion that his conduct did not significantly downgrade the protection to the public because there was nothing to suggest he could not have been back in the police vehicle within a minute or two.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

This happened in Montreal last year.

i don't doubt you would've heard an adele song over the last couple of years, bishington, unwittingly or no.

i probably have - but wouldn't know what her unique style is - and wouldn't be able to tell you it was adele if I heard it!

i only listened to the introduction - so i only heard her name adele - which is why i asked about adele in particular!

i could probably pick out celine dion and cher from your list, if I had to! (but with celine dion - only if i knew i was looking for her - i couldn't pick her out of a bunch other similar sounding dion copy-cats - her style became pretty ubiquitous did it not?

Ok - Piaf and Cher, them too. (I know of Britney, but never knowingly have I heard her sing, I don't think).
And stop querying everything so specifically, hyperbole is alive and well in my household.

You can simulate the sound by catching a cat, sticking it in a bag and then swing it repeatedly against a wall.

You must have heard the pissing Titanic song countless times? If not, you should go and listen to it about a thousand times. It's only fair. We all had to. Celine Dion, Gwen Stefani and Bette Midler had me giggling like a child!

There were at least a half a dozen that I'd never heard of. The Julie Andrews was very good.

Mildly amusing on the whole but not really anything that Mike Yarwood wasn't doing 35 years ago.
