I should probably mutter something about folk repeating the same negative shite but I really can't be arsed with them...

PT is right. I don't think Freedman is a better manager than Coyle at all. I said a week or two ago that our side is similar to Wigan's in quality, and I guarantee that Coyle's Wigan finish a lot higher than Freedman's Bolton do. I can accept a loss, I just can't accept the awful performances, week in, week out.

Our side is capable of much more than this.

For the record I like & prefer Freedman far more than Coyle....

Just not sure he's the man to transform things - TBH I lost faith in DF a bit the minute he made Knight captain, to improve the team from last year and to make us more solid the 1st thing he should have done is get shut of Knight not make him captain.

not sure how you get shut of knight if nobody wants to buy him... but the captain thing did seem a bit odd....

He's doesn't have to play him though does he - his (Knight's) can't be arsed / lazy attitude spreads throughout the team.

Freedman's not had much money I agree, but knowing a good CB is an absolute priority has brought in the likes of Hall, Beckford, Moritz, Tierney, Baptiste (who I would actually play at CB ahead of Knight) & Spearing (6 signings) without signing a decent CB.

A Centre Back should have been his No1 priority.

If he'd signed a centre back and we were playing Andrews in midfield you'd be saying Spearing should have been his top priority.

He ran forward trying to play off-side and left Wheater for dead and Baptise without cover. Mackie read Knights run perfectly. THe second was another offside attempt. We need a leader at the back in our Centre who can actually read the game.

Medo tried hard, our best player. Our worst was Chungy. The worst I have seen him play.

Without Eagles and Ngog we look toothless in attack. Not worried. Early days and we will improve.

I think you give our defence too much credit by suggesting they were trying to play offside! The first goal Zat Knight passed to a Forest player and then made no effort to get back in to position.

How do you know he hasn't tried to buy/loan a centre back but hasn't been able to get anyone good enough? If he hasn't tried to get one in fair enough, but more than likely he's tried and hasn't had any success so far.
