the renowned peterboro express sayeth
The return to scoring form of million-pound striker Tyrone Barnett has attracted the attention of Championship clubs.
Barnett remains on the transfer list despite scoring in the last two Posh matches and striking up a decent partnership with new signing Britt Assombalonga.
And now Championship promotion fancies Bolton have joined Blackburn, Blackpool and Barnsley in declaring an interest in the 27 year-old striker.
But Posh director of football Barry Fry said: “Bolton manager Dougie Freedman has been in touch about Tyrone, but he doesn’t have the money right now.
“There’s been interest in Tyrone form several Championship clubs, but no-one has matched our valuation.”
Posh paid Crawley £1.1 million for Barnett 18 months ago, but he was bedevilled by injury and disciplinary issues last season.
Posh boss Darren Ferguson has been pleased with the big-money signing’s efforts this season.
Ferguson said: “Tyrone has done well and I’m especially pleased that he’s quickly struck up a good partnership with Britt. “

Never, ever, in all the years of the published word, have those two (three) been used together, beforeEnoch wrote:Discretion Barry (Fry) ! Discretion.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I find myself wishing them well and hoping they come back up. I warmed to Ferguson last season.

Barry Fry is ex-BWFC isn't he?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Came from Stretford Redsox. He played once. Told Nat Lofthouse he was his replacement.Harry Genshaw wrote:Think he played marginally more than Didi Hamann didLord Kangana wrote:Barry Fry is ex-BWFC isn't he?
Even Fry admits he was a jumped-up git.

I went to see him do a turn with a Q&A session tagged on, thought he was great value, funny as f*ck.

The Oracle has confirmed Bristol City have made an enquiry for Tim Ream. I have no doubt that we will be paying most of his wage though.
Reading between the lines on twitter, we are in contact with Jeremie Boga, a 16 year old highly rated French midfielder from Chelsea.

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
so i have been thinking about how to change our defensive blues,
drop knight / play baptiste centrally alongside wheater and then play mears rightback
loan or buy thomas sorenson from stoke (bogdan gives the defence no confidence whatsoever leading to nervous displays and us conceding regularly)
or buy a centreback to replace knight he is beyond forgiving for his performances now
all in all something has to be done and soon personally i think we have the defenders in the club capable of keeping clean sheets sadly i feel this wont happen with boggers in the net
