Different world eh Bish? Today Nixon is saying we can't afford Baird's wages even if we release someone so that move is off. Presumably why QPR havent signed him yet either.
But we can't afford a 31 year old free transfer yet Arsenal have £70M quid to spend but are too scared and then Spurs and Man City are chucking it around like confetti.
Irrespective of what happens in general I suspect we are in for a tough next decade supporting Bolton!

So now Newcastle are pissed off with Arsenal after they made a bid the day before their encounter with Man City. I would imagine he was livid with Wenger (or Arsenal) when one of his best players makes himself unavailable. Arsenal also upset Liverpool by biding £40m and one penny for Suarez.
I wonder if Arsenal's ability to sign anyone of significance is anything to do with them being knobs.

Yohan Cabaye: Alan Pardew unhappy at timing of Arsenal bid
Newcastle manager Alan Pardew says Arsenal's bid for midfielder Yohan Cabaye had a "huge bearing" on his side's 4-0 defeat at Manchester City.
The Gunners made a £10m bid for Cabaye on Sunday and Pardew pulled the France international, 27, out of Monday's Premier League opener.
"You prepare for three days with a player of that talent and that was taken away from us," said Pardew.
"It had a huge bearing on the result as well."
Cabaye travelled to Manchester with the Newcastle squad before Pardew sent him back to the North East following Arsenal's offer being made public ahead of the City game.
The Magpies went on to endure a miserable time at the Etihad without one of their most influential players as they were comprehensively beaten, while centre-back Steven Taylor was also sent off.
"Why [Arsenal] couldn't do us the respect and the honour of waiting until Tuesday evening is beyond me," said Pardew.
Do not trust atoms. They make up everything.

Pardew is the knob. Blaming Arsenal for his teams crapness. That's pathetic.malcd1 wrote:So now Newcastle are pissed off with Arsenal after they made a bid the day before their encounter with Man City. I like Wenger. He bids *just* low enough to make sure it gets rejected. It's funny

boltonboris wrote:Vieira is one of the greatest midfielders to have played the game in my generation. An absolute freak of nature, which we probably won't see again. He was better than Keane in my opinion, who was one of the worlds best.
Fellaini is a very good player. Vieira is a modern great.
Again that's your opinion I prefer Fellaini he's a fantastic all round midfielder
The only way we'll find out is if Arsenal sign him

Never get into an argument with an idiot. i'll bring you down to my level and beat you with experience
Re: Diving Arsenal Players - The Least Shocking Admission Ev
I think he bids a wee bit lower than just low enough in order to get his bids rejected. Anyway at least he never blames Arsenal's poor performances on others unlike Pardew.boltonboris wrote:I like Wenger. He bids *just* low enough to make sure it gets rejected. It's funny

Agreed and I just don't get it. They made a laughably low bid for Cahill then watched as Chelsea still got themselves a bargain. The offer for Cabaye was rightly described as derisory and there was no way the Toon would accept it.boltonboris wrote:I like Wenger. He bids *just* low enough to make sure it gets rejected. Meanwhile Spurs seem to have no problem agreeing realistic* fees for well regarded players
* I say realistic. It's all relative of course. Bonkers but relative

Tony Adams says Arsene Wenger will not be Arsenal manager for much longer - and he would love to take over at the Emirates.

Congrats to Arsenal I thought they were going to get roundly f*ck*d but they got through a very tough night in Istanbul. Nice to see they only took about 200 fans
.

The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

Probably more than 200. But then we're not exactly doing that "every year".thebish wrote:bwfcdan94 wrote:Congrats to Arsenal I thought they were going to get roundly f*ck*d but they got through a very tough night in Istanbul. Nice to see they only took about 200 fans.
how many do you thing we'd have rolled out, Dan - for a pre-qualifying round of a cup competition that far away?

wenger's got form for this with arteta. i forget who everton played that day, but, he's a idiot to give chelsea an extra 2* goals verses newcastle. he'll be skriking when tottingham and chelsea play out a draw to guarantee them both european cup places. or summat.thebish wrote:

imagine how many french kids he can buy with extra 5 million he's saving by not buying cabaye...
.. imagine how many coyle can borrow while he relegates wigan.

yeah - maybe - but not if this was the 16th year we had been in it, and were anticipating proper chumps league fixtures to come....BWFC_Insane wrote:Probably more than 200.
