I like the statue. The only thing I'm pissed off at is that I bought a brick for my Mum and Dad and they got an invitation to the unveiling as a bonus for buying the brick. Unfortunately they brought the unveiling forward from Tuesday to Saturday. My mum is quite ill at the moment and was unable to attend on Saturday but she would have been okay tomorrow (she's on cyclical medication).

Just a quick update. The club have responded to my e-mail and are to organise a little meet and greet for Mum and Dad. A very decent gesture on their part although they were under absolutely under no obligation to do so.

Had a chance to get a proper gander round it the other day. I must commend the club (and all involved) on a magnificent job. If anyone has seen the w*nk effort of Ferguson up close at OT, they'll appreciate that its not just about money. Well done BWFC, does exactly what it should.

I'm not ashamed to say I had a little lump in my throat and a tear in my eye reading all the inscriptions on those bricks.
