A clearance leads to a fortunate pick up by Hall before we get an effort in that goes well wide. Throw them on halfway but we recover it. Beckford getting the good words along with the samba man. Hall gets forward then we win a throw and Beckford is the target man in grand style now. Don't want extra time, don't want penalties. Just get one goal and that'll do. We're sounding the better side right now but Knight sloppy with a back pass. We get forward well and Kamara lashes one before Moritz feeds Eaves and it's hooked off the line. Here we go again, sounding really better as we have "was it, wasn't it" debate but it isn't given. Pratley....feeds Hall and Eaves gets off-sided and the liner gets the boos for a dodgy offside. Five to go. Come on Bolton.....

Not to pry into a man's intimates, Hoss, but I think you may be getting the physics all wrong here. In these circumstances, you may want to prioritise absorbency.

Just a thought.
I see what you're saying. And I must admit I've busted the last three washing machines with my girder support boxers but the cold steel offers rock solid protection coupled with a calming massagic effect.

Big-club conspiracy. That's why Cahill will never play for England.

Ref has a word with Goodison and Moritz before Baptiste goes forward. Now Eaves just can't keep it in and it's a throw. Now's the time to kill it off. Knight heads one away as Tranmere keep fighting. Moritz gets away and looks for Beckford but the Tanmere keeper grabs it. We're on the two minutes of ET. They have a last minute try but all credit to them for having a real go. Now Eaves, then Pratley pulls one wide from twenty five yards. And its... Mills gives a way a suicide free kick twenty five out at our end. This can't happen....and it doesn't as we get it clear. Extra time. 1-1.

Was wondering hypothetically who would take a penalty on Saturday should we have got one. Didn't come up with anyone in the end. Tonight we may have to find 5 or more...........

So, the team, with possible/probable Saturday protagonists in bold:

Lonergan; Mears, Mills, Knight, Baptiste; Moritz, Medo, Pratley, Hall; Beckford (on 60), Eaves
Spare subs (pick one): Bogdan, Bolger, Spearing, Youngs

Does he try to protect his first XI (maybe Jay for Medo)?

Short of us knocking in a hatful in extra time, with a zat knight hat trick, followed with him driving across the m62 to shove the captains arm band down my throat, we aint coming out of a 1-1 after 90mins, against a lower league team who lost 5-0 at home on saturday, with much credit!

Well, we didn't want or need it, but we get extra time. Nail it up quick lads. They win a throw then Moritz grabs it and Baptiste gets forward before they recover it and get at us again. They got yet another cross and Mills has to clear wells before Eaves can't convert at the other end. Tranmere lash a thirty yarder just wide and they aren't giving up in any way. Mears gets a free and Beckford forces another cracking save from Williams after Hall headed it into the box. Another change imminent and Pratley feeds Moritz who's shot isn't far wide. Corner us and...headed clear. Mears bangs it to Moritz, then Pratley and Moritxz again. Hall comes off for Youngs

What is it with our players recently wasting chances by shooting from miles away?
